OVERVIEW

Join the Green Mountain Care Board to work on exciting health care regulation and reform initiatives!
Duties include consultation and support on policy issues. The Analyst will assisting in the development of policy initiatives by performing independent research, evaluation, and other programmatic activities to further the organization’s goals and objectives.
The Green Mountain Care Board is an independent, five-member board that seeks to improve the health of Vermonters through a high-quality, accessible, and sustainable health care system. The Board’s duties and responsibilities can be found on its website. Flexible and/or remote work possible.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in policy, public administration, public health or a related field.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in policy, public administration, public health or a related field AND two (2) years experience or more in a public or private health policy analysis and research organization, public health organization, or a health care setting. Education or experience must include work on current health policy and health care reform issues, such as Accountable Care Organization issues, payment reform, health insurance regulation, or hospital regulation or financing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with regulatory boards under Vermont’s Open Meeting Law.
