Health Room Assistant - Long Elementary

at  Lindbergh Schools

• Part-time position, 4 hours per day; 20 hours per week
• Schedule: 10 Months, Monday-Friday, follows Student Calendar
• Starting hourly rate: starting at $18.91, subject to experience
• Non-exempt
• Benefits not included
  Summary: Assists building nurses with daily operations and procedures to ensure proper student care within the health clinic.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support clinic/nurse during school lunch periods
• Run clinic when nurse is absent/on break
• Assist with clerical work and record keeping
• Administer medication as delegated by the nurse
• Provide basic first aid as directed by the nurse
• Assist in control of communicable diseases according to procedures
• Other Building Assistant duties as needed such as recess and lunch supervision
