We have recently brought together our employee wellbeing and health and safety teams to create a new service dedicated to improving the health, safety and wellbeing of our 3,700 employees.
To realise our ambition, we are looking for three inspiring individuals to join the Council as Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partners.
These are far more than traditional health and safety roles, we need people who are passionate about wanting to make a real difference to the lives of others, who can live and breathe our values and who are up for a challenge!

Responsibilities:
Our new Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partners will work with our services
- Providing authoritative advice and guidance on health and safety matters to all stakeholders in services across the Council
- Reviewing and auditing arrangements for health and safety management and continuously improving these arrangements where appropriate
- Conducting and reviewing risk assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Collaborating with managers at all levels to support health, safety and wellbeing excellence.
- Drive behavioural change across the Council.
- Writing engaging communications and delivering training to employees at all levels.
