• HSE Engineers are accountable provide positive leadership on HSE matters within the Portfolio Project Teams and promote the adoption of best practice, with an enthusiastic HSE culture that delivers positive commitment to and engages all employees in continuous improvement in HSE performance
• The HSE Engineer will monitor and report on the effectiveness of the HSE Management system and progress against HSE Performance Standards and will make recommendations for improvement as appropriate. The HSE Engineer is accountable to the client PPM or equivalent Group Head, with functional responsibilities to the client HSE Lead. This role has no direct reports
• The role will be based at EDF Dungeness B and will require from time to time, business travel to UK sites/stations. Flexible working arrangements between office and home may be possible, however the role will predominantly be based at the Power Station. In this role you will report to the Jacobs Operations Manager, but be accountable for project delivery directly to the client
• Everyone working in our team will have a proven track record of working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards and culture
• Good communication and organisational skills are a must with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks and be results-focused tempered with a team-centred approach
