ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you’ll have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of health and safety law, and specifically experience of health and safety in construction. You’ll have strong IT skills, NEBOSH GC or similar, SSMTS or IOSH is desirable.

Responsibilities:

As a business we pride ourselves on striving for excellence and continuous improvement, and the Health and Safety Officer’s mission will use their experience to take ownership of and establish, monitor and manage systems and processes to promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the Company and its partners.
The H&S Officer will be responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are reviewed and relevant, they are communicated and adhered to. Fundamentally the key objective of the role is to ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
Having the ability to work both as part of a team and also take overall responsibility for your personal workload, whilst delivering excellent levels of service is essential. A desire to put our clients’ needs first and a thirst to develop your own skills is a key part of fitting into this established team.
