Typically you’ll:

• Ensure people work in a safe way without risk to health and work in line with statutory provisions
• Ensure we comply with safety legislation and codes of practice
• Share, train and educate our colleagues on safety, health and welfare
• Make sure we use effective consultation procedures and embed them in how we manage projects.
• Work with Site Managers and set standards for contracts and visitors so they fully comply with policies and our ways of working.
• Carry out root cause analysis of incidents and ensure all reportable accidents and incidents are notified and recorded.
• Ensure all new equipment, substances and systems of work are assessed and risks managed.
• Ensure all safety audits and inspections are carried out effectively
