We are looking for a Health and Wellbeing Officer to join our team and contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects focused on workplace hygiene, workplace adjustments, and early intervention health management.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As a Health and Wellbeing Officer, you will assist in developing and implementing key health and wellbeing initiatives across the department. You’ll support early intervention health management programs, such as our workplace adjustment program, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and impactful health and wellbeing solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development and implementation of early intervention and preventative health management programs, focusing on workplace adjustments and individual case management.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and programs related to health and wellbeing and early intervention.
- Research and gather information to provide sound advice and recommendations to management on health and wellbeing issues.
- Support internal and external stakeholders in delivering key health and wellbeing projects and individual employee support.
- Assist with HSW projects by preparing reports and briefs, managing workplace adjustment requests, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, and to quality standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace. You should have a strong background in health management, with a particular focus on early intervention and workplace adjustments. Your ability to collaborate, provide expert advice, and manage multiple projects will be essential in delivering outcomes for the department.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, regulations, and Australian standards.
- Experience in managing or contributing to health, safety, and wellbeing projects, particularly in the areas of early intervention and workplace adjustments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
