Description:
Ealing Renal Centre is a busy 19 station haemodialysis unit based in Ealing Hospital Southall Middlesex. We are open from 07:00 – 23:30 Monday – Saturday, closed Sundays. We operate a variety of shifts including long days, short days and twilight shifts.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will need excellent communication skills - including written, verbal, and non-verbal, along with attention to detail.
You will be assisting registered nursing staff to care for patients who require haemodialysis and you will work as part of our multidisciplinary care team.
The setting up and decontamination of equipment is a major part of this role. The work can sometimes be physically demanding and challenging but also rewarding . You will be trained to deliver excellent care to our patients by offering a comprehensive training program to ensure you are able to meet the Care Certificate Standards. We will support and encourage you to continue your personal and professional development.
You will be expected to be flexible and able to work our shift patterns to accommodate the service needs. We will consider requests for flexible working.
