New Patient Health Checks NHS Health Check Venepuncture ECG Recording BP Taking and Recording Hypertension Clinics Height and Weight Recording Suture and Clip Removal Wound Dressings Injections (within competence) Phlebotomy Chaperoning Duties Stock Ordering To undertake patient Home Visits for CDM Reviews working within own competency and as delegated by qualified nurse within relevant field of care (e.g. Diabetes, CHD etc) To support and assist qualified nurses within Diabetes/Respiratory Clinics To process and manage laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses To sterilise, clean and maintain surgical equipment To stock rotate surgical equipment and vaccine re-stocking To prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions To assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients health and well-being To undertake specific clinical activities for named patients that have been delegated and taught specifically in relation to that individual To help raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted To assist with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being To assist in clinics such as coil and Implanon insertion and removal To assist in preparation for yearly calibration of practice equipment To complete patient notes and tasks on clinical system relative to job role Other tasks delegated by the Clinical Lead To clear and re-stock consulting room
