Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated healthcare assistants to join our team in our Stour Centre at Ipswich hospital.
Healthcare assistants are a key part of our team and support the Registered Nurses in providing high quality care to our patients.
Do you want to be part of a team with an excellent reputation for delivering a high standard of care, ensuring we keep our patients safe and that they have a positive experience under our care.
Our Healthcare Assistant’s work a rota pattern, so you MUST be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends including Bank Holidays for example Christmas Day. We are unable to offer set shifts patterns.
Please note you may be required to undertake a Numeracy & Literacy test as part of the pre-employment checks.

We will also have 30hpw, fixed term contract until 1.04.2026.

  • To meet the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Professional
  • To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines
  • To work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team
  • To work within the boundaries of the role of the HCA supporting more junior colleagues as required and refer to the Registered Nurse as appropriate
