POSITION OVERVIEW
The Healthcare Solutions Manager will be primarily responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategy and tactics across Germany / the region to support patient access by engaging with regional health (policy) stakeholders.
The Healthcare Solutions Manager will report to the Marketing and Healthcare Solutions Lead and work in close collaboration with the Country Manager, Sales Manager, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Field team.
This position is field based / remote, with travel to the Munich office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years of experience in a health policy department or a comparable position in the pharmaceutical/biotech/medtech or diagnostics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the health policy and legal framework in Germany, especially in the area of statutory health insurance associations, doctors’ associations, health insurance companies and medical services.
- Experience in working with regional decision-makers and in project management.
- Native German speaker or comparable, fluent in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong team working skills within a matrix organization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple timelines.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Additional training / studies in the field of health policy, economics is an advantage.

Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Engage and build relationships with different regional and local health policy stakeholders (associations of statutory health insurance physicians, health insurances, medical services of health insurances and doctors’ associations as well as other health policy opinion leaders) to support patient access.
- Understand the needs/barriers of stakeholders regarding the use of our products and develop strategies to support other field teams.
- Map and understand the role of key stakeholders in relations to influencing and decision-making, and develop a stakeholder engagement plan.
- Develop plans with clear objectives, milestones, and next step actions to optimize patient access.
- Expand the established network of regional decision-makers and opinion leaders in the region.
- Follow and evaluate regional health policy developments and information relevant for the products, and shares insights with the relevant cross-functional team members.
- Participation in meetings to exchange ideas with the cross-functional team on market access-specific issues and conducting trainings on health policy-relevant topics.
- Organization and participation in regional events as well as acting as speaker on health policy topics.
- Identify and shape multi-stakeholder projects to improve patient case and position Exact Sciences as a trusted and expert company.
- Close collaboration with the Market Access and cross-functional team.
- Strong communication and networking skills, ability to formulate complex issues in a simple and customer-oriented manner and to convey knowledge.
