Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated person with experience of working with people with learning disabilities, mental health issues. Previous experience in a similar area of work will be beneficial, with knowledge and experience of implementing positive behaviour support (PBS) with individuals who may present with complex Behaviours that challenge.
Rowan House is an 8 bed assessment and treatment unit. The team comprises of a unit manager, deputy manager, registered nurses and health care support workers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude to working with people with challenging behaviour and experience of working effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to work positively with service users and the ability to develop therapeutic relationships. Candidates would assist in the provision of both personal and health care, contributing to comprehensive treatment plans for each individual.
Candidates must also be able to demonstrate commitment to developing their skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
