Responsibilities:
West Suffolk Council is seeking to recruit a Heat Network Development Officer into the Energy and Sustainability Team at West Suffolk Council.
The purpose of this role is to develop heat network projects across Suffolk. The role will contribute to the strategic goals of the Suffolk Climate Emergency Plan (SCEP). There may be an opportunity to extend the term of the role through successful funding applications.
Working as part of our highly experienced and busy team, you will be involved in projects across Suffolk. The role will support existing projects and develop new ones, including submitting funding applications, preparing contract documents, and designing procurement specifications. You will work collaboratively with and support our customers, businesses, and other partners to bring about environmental improvements.
