Responsibilities:
As a Heat Transfer and Secondary Flows Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing aero-thermal design expertise, focusing on gas turbine cooling systems and combustion technologies.
- Performing Heat Transfer & Fluid Systems design/analysis of gas turbine components.
- Leading the design, analysis, and testing of gas turbine hot gas path components.
- Developing capabilities of analyzing experimental data for rigorous modelling validation
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a MSc or PhD in Mechanical, Thermal or Aeronautical Engineering.
- Have experience in Heat Transfer, combustion and CFD applied in turbomachinery.
- Have extensive knowledge of thermal design processes for gas turbine components.
- Have demonstrated expertise in gas turbine cooling systems design.
- CFD (CFX or Fluent) experience
- FEM analysis knowledge
- One-dimensional flow network solvers knowledge
- Knowledge of hot gas path cooling systems concepts
- Experience in combustion systems design and analysi
