Heathrow Express is seeking a Commercial Insights Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing data and providing actionable insights to support business decisions, enhance revenue performance, and drive commercial growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and support the commercial leadership team in business planning. Additionally, you will perform product analysis and modelling to support regular reporting and ensure the business remains agile in its decision-making.
- Helping to plan and deliver key commercial strategies ensuring continued growth and performance.
- Analysing and presenting data and drawing key insights to share with both expert and non-expert audiences. For example, reviewing key passenger behaviour trends and making recommendations to improve commercial performance.
- Managing pricing systems and implementing offers and pricing changes, when appropriate.
- Track/reviewing the commercial performance of all sales channels including the Ticket Vending Machines, Contactless, Digital, B2B, and frontline teams. Ensuring rail industry ticketing standards are met through regular audits.
- Testing business assumptions and suggesting improvements by providing key stakeholders with consistent and useful sales and channel data to inform of actual and forecasted performance..
- Highly numerate with strong commercial awareness and thinking
- Experience of modelling commercial data
- Strong skills in Excel, Power Point, Tableau and Power BI
- Complex problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to large data sets
- Working with large amounts of data, translating this into presentable material
- Knowledge or experience of the travel, rail, or aviation industry
