OVERVIEW

We are seeking an individual who has a deep understanding of heating system design and has industry experience. We are commercial orientated and are looking for the right candidate that can assist in the growth strategy that the company has for the next 5 years within the renewable heating sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, creativity, and a passion for heating design.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in heating design or a related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential; experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of system design principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink for simulation purposes.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot design issues effectively.
• Ability to create clear schematics that communicate complex ideas simply.
• Understanding of logic controllers and their application in mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong mechanical knowledge.

• Develop and create detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks and other CAD software.
• Conduct system design analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Create and interpret schematics for various mechanical systems.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify issues in existing designs and propose effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical systems, including logic controllers.
• Utilise MATLAB and Simulink for modelling and simulation of mechanical systems.
• Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, changes, and specifications.
