Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
NCSG Trans Tech is seeking a Heavy-Duty Apprentice Mechanic to assist our maintenance team that supports our Fort McMurray shop. The Heavy Duty Apprentice Mechanic will be responsible for effectively performing maintenance and service of property, equipment and vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- All levels of Apprentices will be considered and apprentices with previous truck and trailer experience will be preferred.
- Must have a valid and current apprenticeship in place.
- CVIP Tech License would be an asset.
- Valid Driver’s License with clean drivers abstract.
- Experience working with Heavy Haul Trucks, particularly with Cummins’s/Detroit Diesel engines and SISU Planetary axles and Platform Trailers would be preferred.
- Experience with Sheuerle and Goldhofer trailers an asset..
- Ability to work in team-oriented environment.
