Are you passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience by troubleshooting and maintaining a variety of Vermeer and other heavy equipment? We’re looking for a self-starter who enjoys hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures or malfunctions in the shop to reduce customer downtime
  • Test repaired equipment for performance and reliability
  • Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on all customer equipment
  • Review factory service bulletins and other pertinent information to ensure equipment is up to date
  • Convey a professional presence, ensuring problems are tactfully explained and customer relations are satisfied

  • Prepare job estimates in accordance with work schedules and promised completion dates, effects necessary mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic repairs, as required
  • Maintain a familiarity with the practical operation of all equipment
  • Maintains and leaves all work areas clean, unobstructed, in a safe and orderly working condition
  • Adheres to all Company policies and procedures, with particular emphasis on health and safety
  • Attends and participates in toolbox/safety meetings
