Are you passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience by troubleshooting and maintaining a variety of Vermeer and other heavy equipment? We’re looking for a self-starter who enjoys hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures or malfunctions in the shop to reduce customer downtime
- Test repaired equipment for performance and reliability
- Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on all customer equipment
- Review factory service bulletins and other pertinent information to ensure equipment is up to date
- Convey a professional presence, ensuring problems are tactfully explained and customer relations are satisfied

- Prepare job estimates in accordance with work schedules and promised completion dates, effects necessary mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic repairs, as required
- Maintain a familiarity with the practical operation of all equipment
- Maintains and leaves all work areas clean, unobstructed, in a safe and orderly working condition
- Adheres to all Company policies and procedures, with particular emphasis on health and safety
- Attends and participates in toolbox/safety meetings
