  We are seeking an experienced full-time Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice to join our team at our Blackfalds facility.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2nd period apprentice in the Heavy Equipment Technician trade.
• Valid Driver License.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing including marijuana.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Must be fit-for-duty.
• Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and heavy-duty trucks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality. Able to diagnose and repair manufacturers spec.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with team members for effective operations.
