We are currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician: to join our West Edmonton team. We require an experienced technician who will maintain and repair a variety of makes/models of equipment as a key resource to help us continue to provide dependable, timely service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities::

  • Perform preventative maintenance and conduct routine inspections
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and make recommendations on repair options
  • Adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts
  • Comprehend equipment manuals, diagrams, and schematic drawings
  • Complete appropriate documentation for all service and repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Other projects and duties as assigned by Supervisor

  • Hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Familiarity with maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Essential Skills and Experience::

- - Experience of 2 -3 years’ as a Heavy Equipment Technician (forklift, loader, skid steer, material handling equipment or Heavy Tractor Trailer)
- Journeyman, or red seal certification (preferred)
- Position is open to 3rd or 4th year apprentices
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with drivers abstract in good standing
- Must have own tools
- Ability to work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, no weekends
