JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dependable and experienced full-time Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at our Sherwood Park facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy equipment, heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This position is eligible for relocation expenses.

REQUIREMENTS

• Journeyperson certification required
• Valid Driver License
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment skills
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing including marijuana.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Must be fit-for-duty.
• Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.
• H2S, First Aid, CSO, WHMIS, and TDG certification

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and heavy-duty trucks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality. Able to diagnose and repair manufacturers spec.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with team members for effective operations.
