Description:

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is within the Professional Services industry and involves providing customer support related to Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications. The position also requires extensive communication skills to efficiently resolve customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to customers using Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Assist users with Microsoft Office applications, mainly focusing on Word and Excel.
  • Manage customer service inquiries and ensure all issues are resolved accurately and promptly.
  • Utilize the ticketing system to log all customer interactions and track the resolution process.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for computer hardware and configuration management issues.
  • Manage deployments and configuration changes as required.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring all customer needs are met.
  • Utilize Active Directory to manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Provide support for Apple devices and other hardware as needed.
  • Regularly update and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the Professional Services industry
  • Proficiency in Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Apple Devices and their relevant software
  • Understanding of Computer Hardware and its troubleshooting
  • Experience in Configuration Management and Deployments
  • Comfortable using Ticketing Systems for managing requests and issues
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
  • Basic Troubleshooting skills for software and hardware issues
  • Ability to troubleshoot Hardware issues effectively.
