Description:

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in Union, Illinois. We are seeking a candidate with a strong skill set in the IT industry who will support our team by maintaining smooth IT operations and providing exceptional support to our end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Address and resolve end-user technical issues, including software, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Efficiently manage and resolve tickets submitted by end-users.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for various software systems, including Microsoft 365 applications like Outlook, Excel, OneDrive, Teams.
  • Troubleshoot and support Windows operating systems.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting switches, access points, and routers.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues with the 3CX VoIP phone system.
  • Contribute to the documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist with systems such as Makino, DMG Mori, and DNC in a shop floor manufacturing environment.
  • Utilize knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and VPN for various tasks.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory management and operations
  • Knowledge of Computer Hardware and ability to troubleshoot related issues
  • Familiarity with Group Policy and its application in a business setting
  • Skills in Basic Network Troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations
  • Strong Customer Service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to perform Password Resets in a secure and efficient manner
  • Experience with Computer Imaging to enable quick and effective system setups
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
