Title: Help Desk Coordinator & Procurement Analyst
Program: IT Department – Varick
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Project Renewal’s IT Department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Help Desk Coordinator & Procurement Analyst. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing technical support to employees and managing the procurement process to ensure efficient acquisition of IT hardware and software. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a background in IT support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A+ Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone or email.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Assist with setting up, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Document support tickets, resolutions, and processes to maintain an accurate knowledge base.
  • Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management.
  • Review and analyze purchasing requests to ensure compliance with company policies and budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels of IT equipment, supplies, and software licenses.
  • Conduct regular audits to reconcile inventory records and identify discrepancies.
  • Coordinate asset disposal and recycling processes in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, policies, procedures, processes, and procurement workflows.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.
