CAPAGO is a French provider of outsourcing services for European governments and their diplomatic missions, responsible for financing and managing visa application centres to process their Schengen visa applications.
We operate in 10 countries and welcome more than 250,000 visa applicants annually.
As part of our development, we want to strengthen our IT Department in Cape Town. We are looking for a Helpdesk Technician Second Line with a passion for new challenges within a dynamic and human-focused company.
The Helpdesk Technician Second Line at Capago manages the company’s IT systems and is the main point of contact between employees and the IT department. His/Her main mission is to provide technical support and assistance to the employees and maintain the operational conditions of the group’s IT infrastructure.
- Managing the IT systems of the company
Installing & configuring hardware and software, monitoring asset status, performing backups, and hardware maintenance )
- Correcting IT Issues
Receiving and managing requests sent to the department, diagnosing and taking corrective actions
- Assisting employees
Responding to users’ requests and assisting them by resolving their issues, providing proximity and distance support
- Managing IT-related projects for the group
Preparing the opening of new centres, drafting procedures and communicating them, participating in IT projects for the group

DIPLOMAS AND EXPERIENCE
Matric & University degree or equivalent in computer science
Studies in informatics and specialization in computer networks.
