JOB SUMMARY:

The Industrial Helper is responsible for supporting production operations by performing various tasks such as material handling, cleaning equipment, and assisting skilled tradespeople. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED, required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred but not required.

• Employee must be dependable and capable of working long hours.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Attention to Detail - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
• Cooperation - Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Talk/Hear: Must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Stand/Sit: Occasional Sitting, Standing for long periods of time.
Walk: Frequently be able to walk distances.
Use hands/fingers to handle or feel: Often use hands and arms for handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials. Require steady arm and hand control during stationary tasks. Need quick hand and arm movements for grasping, manipulating, and assembling objects.
Climb: Occasionally need to climb ladders or stairs.
Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl: People in this position frequently need to stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
See: Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Carry, weight, Lift: The person in this position occasionally be able to lift and carry up to 100lbs.
Exposure to work: Considerable time will be spent in processing environments both in and outdoors. Environments can be loud, dusty, hot, or cold.

• Handling, beveling, and tacking for fitters.
• Deburring of parts to prep for job.
• Hold or supply tools, parts, and supplies for other workers.
• Maintain work equipment or machinery.
• Performs housekeeping in area as needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
