CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT
- Licenses: Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 or HGV Class 2 license, along with CPC and ADR certifications.
- Certifications: Possession of a valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card is required.
- Experience: Previous experience is preferred; however, newly qualified drivers are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:
We are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 or 2 Driver to join our dynamic transport team at our state-of-the-art waste processing facility in Brownhills. In this permanent role, you will play a crucial part in delivering essential transport services across the UK.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Safely transport packaged hazardous and non-hazardous waste from various customer and supplier locations across the UK, ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant transport regulations, industry standards, and company policies, prioritising safety and environmental responsibility.
- Accurately maintain detailed records and documentation, including waste transfer notes, to ensure accountability and traceability.
- Collaborate effectively with the transport team to coordinate and meet delivery schedules, optimising routes and efficiency.
- Strictly adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring the safe and proper operation of all vehicles and equipment at all times.
