LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) Driver - Nights Out - Stoke on Trent
Pay Rate: £39,008 based on a 45 hour week (£16.67 per hour - flat rate)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday - 3 or 4 nights out per week (£25 per night out)
Location: Stoke on Trent - ST1 5PG
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

• Work pattern - Monday to Friday - 3-4 nights out per week (no Friday nights out)
• Start times - varied 04:00-06:00 - new 74 plate vehicle!!
• Delivery of timber products to Wickes stores nationwide including London - experience of strapping a diminishing load required!!
• Between 1-4 drops daily UK wide plus collections back to Stoke
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Candidates MUST have a minimum of 6 months commercial LGV C+E experience, ideally with general haulage with nights out
• Candidates MUST have experience of strapping diminishing loads - in this case timber products
• Candidates MUST live locally to Stoke ST1 5P
