OVERVIEW

We are partnered with an exceptional client who is looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. As an HGV Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while delivering high-quality workmanship.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong skills in maintaining heavy goods vehicles, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment relevant to HGV maintenance.
  • Experience in welding and fabrication is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
  • Perform welding and fabrication work as required to address vehicle issues.
  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle components for maintenance or repair.
  • Conduct diagnostics and repairs on HGV systems.
