The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. As an HGV Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while delivering high-quality workmanship.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong skills in maintaining heavy goods vehicles, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment relevant to HGV maintenance.
• Experience in welding and fabrication is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

• Conduct diagnostics and repairs on HGV systems.
