High Power Tester Technician

The High Power Test Technician is responsible for testing products and systems under his/her responsibility in accordance with the specifications described in the test procedure, and for identifying and resolving failures of failed products.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• Technical qualification as a power electronics technicianand/or
• Electrical/mechatronics technician and electrician technician

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Performing appropriate tests
• Troubleshooting and repair of defective cards
• Ensuring that the relevant professional and safety standards of the work area are adhered to and enforced
• Comply with production support engineering processes and metrics
• Perform tasks as assigned by production support engineers
• To actively participate in 6S activities, completing the set tasks on time and continuously improving the 6S level of the assigned areas.
• Data collection and recording
• Material handling
• Rework
• Touch-up
• Quality control
• Computer registration of cards
• Carrying out the appropriate tests
• Responsible for the working environment, production management.
• Responsible for reporting any defects detected to management and supporting departments
• Continuous improvement of the areaRESPONSIBILITIES:

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Basic electrical installation skills
• Experience as a high voltage installer
• Experience in electrical installation or as a power technician
• Basic knowledge of the construction of electronic test equipment.Experience in electronic instrumentation, building and repairing electronic circuits.
