QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience working with international students or in a cross-cultural environment is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Computer and Internet access required.
  • Experience working with students or youth programs is highly desirable.
  • Social Media marketing skills preferred.
  • Ability to network within the local community and willingness to create new connections.

Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a remote, part-time independent contract role for an Area Representative who lives anywhere in Kansas.
This is a part-time position that can easily be done in your spare time to earn a little extra money and more importantly provide an opportunity to influence the life of international teens and bring the world to your community! The Area Representative is an independent contractor position, so it allows you to keep any full-time position that you already have.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Educate participants about the organization’s mission, goals, and available resources.
  • Collaborate with local schools and organizations to create partnerships that enhance program visibility.
  • Organize events and activities that promote community involvement and awareness.
  • Professionally represent Pan Atlantic Foundation in your community.
  • Recruit host families to host an exchange student often without any potential leads.
  • Complete a host family in-home interview and check their references.
  • Perform monthly check ins – call or visit in person the host family and student once a month submitting an online report within the same month.
  • Follow up with school each semester regarding students.
