High School Math Teacher
We are looking for a Math Teacher to teach high school credit Mathematics credit courses starting from February 28, 2025 to May 1, 2025. This position may lead to more hours or a permanent position if the candidate shows a high quality of academic related performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced in the Ontario High School Math Curriculum, especially Grade 11 Functions and Grade 12 Advanced Functions.
• Experienced in course development with course binder.
• At least 1-year experience with working at a Ministry-inspected Private School.
• OCT preferred.
• At least one-time experience in preparing for Ontario high school inspection.
• Familiar with the google classroom and other classroom tools.
• Has ability to utilize differentiated instruction and collaborative inquiry to maximize student learning.
• Has knowledge of teaching students about the structure and content of the English language.
• Has the ability to maintain a professional and positive learning environment to ensure success.
• Through delivering high-quality lessons, ability to record, track and report student information such as Grades, Learning Skills, Attendance, and Descriptive Feedback.
• The class period is fixed from Monday to Friday.
• Outgoing, dynamic, and fun personality and teaching style.
• Experience with inspection preparation and knowledge of the seven fundamental principles of assessment.
• Experience with international students is an asset.
• Familiar with the Moodle system is an asset.
• Experience in teaching ESL students.
  Schedule: MCR3U and MHF4U will be combined in one class, from 9:30 am to 12:40 pm, 3 instructional hours per day. Term period will be from Feb 28, 2025 to May 01, 2025. There is no class during March break: Mar 10, 2025 – Mar 14, 2025.
  Required education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  Required experience: Teaching in the private high school for more than 1 year
  License or certification: OCT preferred
