ACS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL COBHAM IS SEEKING AQUALIFIED HIGH SCHOOL MATHS TEACHER TO START AFTER THE SPRING BREAK, 22ND APRIL 2025.

Our diverse and inclusive student body is made up of 70 different nationalities. We offer boarding to Middle, Upper and High school students. ACS Cobham’s 128 acre campus is 25 miles from central London, offering world class facilities. We have a sports centre with a 25m indoor pool, gym, tennis courts, 400m track, playing fields, floodlit astroturf pitch, dance studio, performing arts centre with a 500+ seat auditorium, IT hubs, science labs, interactive learning centre, art and music studios, just to name a few.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Educated to Bachelors degree or international equivalent as a minimum in the relevant subject or a Bachelor of Education
• A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE/PGDE/QTS/valid Teaching Licence)
• Experience teaching Maths to school students at Middle and High School level is essential
• A minimum of two years’ post qualifying teaching experience is preferred
• Experience teaching AP and IB curricula is advantageous
• Strong IT skills (e.g. Apple Teacher qualification)
• Experience of/willingness to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning
• Demonstrable positive and tolerant outlook, enthusiasm for teaching and good understanding of behaviours of the relevant age group
• Fluent in both verbal and written English
• Experience of teaching in an international school is desireable
• Commitment to excellence in education

• A high degree of emotional intelligence, allied with outstanding interpersonal skills
