YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed vocational training as an (electrical) electrician, cable technician, or similar qualification (mechanical background).
- Several years of experience in cable and accessory assembly in the high voltage sector is advantageous.
- High level of quality awareness and reliability in performing tasks. Ability to work independently within a team setting. Physical resilience and capability to handle demanding tasks.
- Good command of English (B1/B2) to communicate effectively with international clients is mandatory.
- Familiarity with high voltage testing standards and safety protocols. Understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble high voltage cable test tracks for development, type, and selection tests. Ensure the correct setup and integration of testing equipment.
- Conduct prequalification tests with voltages up to 500 kV to ensure compliance with industry standards. Document test results and prepare detailed reports.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of testing equipment and facilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with test setups and equipment.
- Conduct acceptance tests in the presence of customers or inspectors to demonstrate compliance and functionality.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to explain test procedures and results.
- Assist in routine testing of cable accessories to ensure ongoing quality and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of tests and inspections.
