Job title: Higher Apprentice Human Resources
Location: Barrow – We offer relocation support packages for this role (Barrow-in-Furness based roles), subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

5 GCSE A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent) Including Maths & English AND a minimum of 72 UCAS points (180 point old system), or equivalent (excluding UCAS points gained at AS level)

Responsibilities:

As a Higher Apprentice in Human Resources you will be responsible for all things ’people’ related. You will support employees throughout their time with the business with anything from changing the way people work, to helping them through difficult personal or professional issues, to working with managers in the business to tackle complex business challenges.
A career in HR offers lots of variety and challenges along with lots of enjoyment. If successful you will be offered a structured development programme consisting of both on the job learning and professional training.
Our HR Higher Apprentices will gain experience in all areas of HR (Managing Employee Cases/ Learning and Development/ Business Partnering/ Communications/ Reward and Employee Relations).
You will also have the opportunity to achieve qualifications which supports your on-the-job development. You will have the opportunity to further your career and go onto gain your Charted Institute Personnel and Development Chartership.
