Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. The emphasis of the role of Higher Business Analyst is on investigating operational problems and opportunities and identifying effective business solutions through process improvements. You will bring your existing Business Analysis skills and experience to the role in order to:

  • Work with Customers, Managers, Architects, Developers and other fellow Professionals to deliver against challenging objectives.
  • Bring the benefits of Business Analysis to the full lifecycle with possible involvement during business case creation, requirements, design, development, test, implementation and operational review.
  • Investigate operational problems, identify and justify effective business solutions through process improvements.
  • Often work on multiple assignments of varying scale and complexity.
  • Work within rigorous project/programme/service frameworks and will require a professional and delivery-focussed consultancy outlook.
  • Mentor and/or coach more junior Business Analysts.
  • Be part of NHS England’s Business Analysis Profession with opportunities to interact with NHS England’s family of Business Analysis Professionals distributed across the Transformation Directorate.
