Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Hours: 35 hours per week, Term time only 44.6 weeks
Salary: NJC Scale 5 point 12 17 £26,421 - £28,770 (actual pro rata £21,377 to £23,277)
Contract: Part Time, Permanent

The school is looking to appoint a HLTA to join our enthusiastic and professional team, initially working in KS2. This role will sometimes include whole class cover for teachers as well as responsibility for small group interventions.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can:
Work collaboratively with other staff in planning, development, delivery and evaluation of the effectiveness of intervention programmes for the children.
Deliver whole class teaching and group teaching
Adjust activities according to pupil learning styles and individual needs.
Communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff.
Develop positive relationships with children and staff to assist the progress and attainment of children.
Work closely with SLT and external agencies to implement strategies to support children’s learning
GCSE maths, literacy and ICT would be beneficial.
