Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Show an interest in working with children of all abilities at the pre-K age level
- Willingness to work with special education students
- Experience in helping children with academic assignments preferred
- Willingness to work with team of principal, interventionists, classroom teacher, and parents with flexibility and a positive attitude
- Must have highly qualified status (completed at least two years of college (60 credit hours), hold an associate’s degree, OR pass the Indiana State ParaPro Assessment)
- Per FSSA regulations successful applicant must pass drug screen, background and finger print check

Responsibilities:
- Assist teacher with students academically, socially, and behaviorally
- Work with small groups of students in classroom setting; participate in educational training relevant to the students’ needs
- Assist with students’ program planning and instruction
- Provide student supervision as needed
