Highly Specialist Dietitian

An exciting and challenging vacancy has arisen to join the UCLH clinical dietetic team working in the Upper GI MDT across both the surgical and cancer board as a maternity leave cover for up to 12 months. We are looking for an experienced Dietitian to be responsible for dietetic service provision providing expertise to both patient pathways. This post provides a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced dietitian to further develop a wide range of nutrition support skills with a challenging case mix of inpatients and outpatients.
We are a large and friendly department of over 50 dietitians providing high quality nutritional care to patients across all areas of our Trust. We have close links with Universities, University College London, London Metropolitan University, and King’s College London. As a department we are involved in student training and facilitate dietetic students on their Placements 2 and 3. We are committed to appraisal and continued professional development.
This vacancy has been advertised in accordance with the new NHS pay rate which will take effect from autumn 2024. Please note if your employment starts before the 24/25 pay scales are implemented you will be paid under the 23/24 pay scales and any backpay will be adjusted accordingly. We are seeking a dynamic, flexible and innovative dietitian, with a significant amount of clinical experience, including previous experience in surgery and patient pathways. This is a diverse role and offers great development opportunities in service development, supervision, improvement and management. You will work as a valued member within the multidisciplinary team and your clinical experience and knowledge will contribute to both guidelines and service development within this service.
