Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist with significant post registration experience to join the leadership structure within the physiotherapy team in the Cardiff Community Resource Team. The post holder will be required to have a broad range of rehabilitation skills and experience of working within a community setting. This will include the ability to adapt to different environments and provide rehabilitation and leadership in an innovative way, to inspire those they work with and achieve the best possible outcomes for the patients we serve.
The post holder will be expected to carry a varied and complex caseload, lead a team of registered and non-registered physiotherapy staff while also working effectively as part of the wider MDT within CRT.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO:

have broad experience of working within Physiotherapy services delivering rehabilitation across community settings
be professionally responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of a high-quality services and daily management of staff and work flow
work in collaboration with the existing Physiotherapy Team Leads within the service to manage patient waiting lists and workloads
be able to provide expert clinical supervision, support and advice to staff
to contribute to data collection and analysis
have excellent organisational, communication and influencing skills
collaborate closely with key leaders/managers which will include identifying areas for service development and improvement, implementing transformational change
act as an expert for physiotherapists and other members of the MDT within this specialist field
be able to adapt and flex to meet the service demands
to be able to work flexibly across a 7 day rota
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The option of full or part time hours will be considered for this post.
