About the role:
You are part of our RigOps team. As one of two engineers focusing on the rig operations in our lab you monitor and manage around 200 component HIL:s. You design and order new rigs. Stable operations are necessary for stable development, and you work closely with our cloud infrastructure team and the teams at Software Test Center to make sures that our rigs are operational. Operational rigs is your main focus. When you are not actively working with the rigs, you use your skills as a Python developer to enhance our rig monitoring systems or work with one of our other CI teams to improve rig usage.
Together with all CI teams on Infotainment, you are working to develop and maintain the CI infrastructure (as code) for the development of the current generation of head-unit ECU for SPA1 and SPA2 and for the next next generation for SPA3. Around 30 development teams are served by the CI infrastructure.
The Volvo Cars Infotainment system is based on Android Automotive OS. We have a close collaboration with Google and other partners like Apple, Aptiv, Microsoft, QNX and QualComm.
In the CI teams we are using various tools, Jenkins, Gerrit/GIT, Artifactory, SonarQube, Cloud/Azure, Python, Bash, Linux, Ansible, Terraform, MongoDB, Docker ?

Background:

• Background as SW developer or HIL Engineer
• Experience from working with RigOps/CI/DevOps/Cloud (Azure)
• Experience of development with Python
