Hiring Caregivers, Personal Support Workers & Developmental Support Workers Immediately!
Do you have a passion for working with seniors?
Home Instead Senior Care is currently looking for caring and compassionate PSW/DSW’s to add to our wonderful team of CAREGivers. We are currently hiring for various hours – days, afternoons, evenings and overnights including every other weekend.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Personal Support Worker Certificate OR
- Developmental Support Worker Certificate
REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to work flexible hours including every other weekend availability
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
- Ability to treat & care for clients and their property with dignity & respect
- Ability to adapt to various living environments & locations
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly & congenial manner
Responsibilities:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Alzheimer’s Care
- Assistance with grooming and bathing (if applying for PSW)
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues (if applying for PSW)
