JOB DESCRIPTION

Learning Minds is an after-school tutoring institute with centers in Mississauga and Milton. We provide individualized tutoring in small groups of 2 to 3 students through trained and qualified tutors. We are currently seeking qualified & experienced tutors with a passion for teaching students ranging from grades 5 through 12 in our Mississauga and Milton Centers. Being an after-school tutoring institute, our hours of operation are 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mondays through Fridays.

OUR TUTORS AND FACILITATORS (EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE):

We expect our potential tutors to:
· Have a bachelor’s degree (preferred)
· Have Ontario Teacher’s Certification (preferred, but not mandatory)
· Have Two or more years of teaching/tutoring experience teaching children from grades 5 to 12 (tutors who have a passion for teaching, but do not have the requisite experience can also apply)
· Have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
· Have access to Reliable transportation.
· Have the skill to be able to develop a positive rapport with students.
· Possess excellent communication skills
· Demonstrate established proficiency and skill in subject matter.
