This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a Working with Children Check The successful candidate can apply for the WWCC as part of the onboarding process. In the case the selected candidate doesn’t have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Create superior quality tissue sections for timely diagnosis, adhering to Good Laboratory Practice policies.
- Perform manual immunohistochemistry and special staining techniques to support research and diagnostic outcomes.
- Maintain equipment, manage chemical inventory, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate on research projects, modify techniques as needed, and provide training to students and staff.
- Contribute to the maintenance of extensive anatomic pathology archives, including tissue blocks, slides, and records.
This position will require physical activity including manual handling.
You are required to have relevant current vaccination status such as Tetanus, Hepatitis A and B and Q fever and other zoonotic diseases.
