At Your Home Compassion Care, we are recruiting for a part-time Receptionist role for our office in Scarborough. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Your core skills in Microsoft Office, data entry, and multi-line phone systems will be essential in managing front desk operations and ensuring smooth communication. You will also utilize your clerical experience and filing abilities to maintain organized records. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while supporting our team in delivering outstanding service to clients.

Hours of Work: (Mon-Fri, 11am -4pm) Part time Reception Position, 25hrs per week), $17/hour
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of Education
- Medical Office Assistant certificate/Medical Office Administration diploma/2 years recent receptionist experience in a home or health care environment
- Administrative experience in a home or health care setting preferred.
- Excellent level of computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Punctuality
- English first language
- Billing experience

Responsibilities:
- The goal of this position is to provide positive service experience to clients at our office. The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Be the first point of contact for clients
- Greet clients and visitors as they arrive
- Meet and achieve KPI and performance goals. Utilize Tableau daily to facilitate KPI attainment.
- Optimize office capacity
- Ensure tasks including new bookings, rescheduling, cancellation, arrivals and upload reports are completed in a timely manner within pre-defined KPI’s for team.
- Manage staff home care visits, enquiries and phone calls
- Accurately register clients by obtaining complete demographics, information and consent.
- Schedule and confirm client and staff appointments and follow ups. Facilitate in home care client flow by communicating with clients, families, and caregivers.
- Respond to client inquiries in a courteous and empathetic manner. Build rapport with clients by responding to inquiries and communicate next steps to clients.
- Maintain attention to detail for all information records. Scan documents into client charts.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all required forms and documentation are completed per check in protocols.
- Follow best practices in confidentiality and privacy of home care information
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide and gather information, enabling client requirements to be dealt with efficiently
