DESCRIPTION

As a Home Care Worker , you will play a crucial role in supporting clients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks.
• Mobility Support: Helping clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking, and positioning.
• Medication Assistance: Prompting prescribed medication administration and monitoring health conditions as directed.
• Companionship: Providing emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversation, and participating in activities to enhance the client’s quality of life.
• Household Tasks: Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Previous experience in a personal care role or similar environment is essential.
• Education: Certification III or IV Aged Care of equivalent
