Description:

Human Touch Home Health Care is looking for a Healthcare Administrative Assistant for our home health care agency, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations and administrative functions of our organization. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery to our patients and staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of home health care services or healthcare administration desired.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Willingness to provide homemaking and personal care to patients as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all incoming calls
  • Manage incoming inquiries from patients and their families.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with all staff.
  • Perform general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing mail.
  • Scanning and uploading of patient information into EMR system.
  • Maintain and update patient records and databases accurately.
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of non-medical staff members.
  • Communicate effectively with caregivers regarding patient assignment
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process of new staff.
  • Ensure all documentation, including patient agreements and staff credentials, are up to date and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in maintaining confidentiality of sensitive patient and employee information.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining quality assurance standards.
  • Address concerns and escalate issues as appropriate to ensure resolution.
  • Assist with non-skilled field visits as required to complete homemaking duties.
