Description:

The Home Loan Consultant works closely with the Home Loan Specialist to support, collaborate, and manage the successful processing of home loan applications.
Using superior attention to detail, checks the validity and accuracy of documentation provided by the client in accordance with information submitted via the Home Loan Platform / Salesforce.
Builds rapport with customers and lenders, through effective communication and provision of exceptional customer service, identifies and solves problems proactively to minimise / alleviate disruption.

Accurately inputs client data, submits loan applications to the lender with a one-touch approach, and manages the process through to settlement, maintaining contact with the lenders to enable timely progress updates to clients.

  • Ensure supporting documentation, as provided by the customer, is valid and satisfies the lender’s requirements in relation to the information submitted in the home loan application.
  • Communicate with customers (lenders and third parties), building rapport, assisting with their queries in an endeavour to progress the customer’s home loan application in a time effective and accurate manner to deliver the best possible outcome.
  • Responsible for ordering the valuations in support of the home loan application and liaising with the valuation companies to ensure the valuations are undertaken as required.
  • Ensure all data entry is complete, accurate, and checked to support a one-touch approach for home loan submissions to lenders.
  • Maintain detailed and truthful customer records in Salesforce CRM.
  • Support the Home Loan Specialist as required, always prioritising the needs of the customer, to deliver a peerless customer experience.
  • Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are fulfilled, meeting the obligations of Responsible Lending and Best Interest Duty.
  • Strive for best practice and process improvement, providing feedback to continuously improve the customer experience, efficiencies, and effectiveness of the team.
  • Utilise CTM Salesforce, AFG FLEX, Genesys, ApplyOnline, and other systems as required to manage home loan applications generated by the CTM Home Loan Platform.
