Are you a talented web developer with a passion for e-commerce and an eye for detail? StorageMart is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Web Developer to enhance our e-commerce team and help us build an industry-leading website. If you’re ready to take on exciting challenges and make an impact, we want to hear from you!

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000/yr commensurate with experience.

  • What You’ll Do:
  • Collaborate with the Best: Work closely with the Senior Web Developer and Senior Vice President of E-commerce Technology to develop and refine our e-commerce platform.
  • Shape the Future: Assist in identifying user and system requirements, prioritize software development projects, and contribute to setting project timelines.
  • Develop & Implement: Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge web applications that enhance our digital customer experience.
  • Coordinate for Success: Work with DevOps for smooth deployment processes and ensure seamless integration of new features and tools.
  • Enhance Performance: Optimize mobile-responsive web interfaces and perform functionality testing and debugging.
  • Who We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: 3-5 years in web development, with experience in e-commerce platforms and backend technologies (Node.js, Express, Postgres, MongoDB).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, C#, or Java.
  • Version Control: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Team Player: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to participate in code reviews and share knowledge.
  • Technical Know-How: Familiarity with front-end libraries/frameworks (React, Vue, etc.), HTML/CSS, content management systems (ideally headless CMS), and search tools (e.g., Algolia).
  • Security & Testing: Awareness of security best practices, A/B testing principles, and internationalization practices.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
