Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Establish, pursue and track dealer/ metro market objectives for new retail & certified retail sales targets
- Pursue and increase AHM wholesale revenue by increasing dealer acceptance and encourage richer trim mix orders
- Facilitate dealer APEX (allocation) acceptance
- Establish, pursue and track network improvements, including facility upgrades, ownership changes, relocations and MS recommendations
- Execute effective, motivating, encouraging people leadership and support associate development of skills and competencies
- Utilize creative determination to optimize business processes, data analysis, and procedures
- Must ensure adherence of all zone staff to AHM policies & business rules
- Ensure budget compliance
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 4-year bachelor degree, business/economics relevant degree preferred
- Equivalent job experience and proven leadership capabilities and skill
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with PC based tools and applications
- 12+ years Honda/Acura Zone Sales & Market Rep Asst. Manager experience
- Recent experience in the Honda/ Acura National rotational positions
- 7-15 years’ experience in sales related environment
- Documented leadership experience or relevant training in people development
- Experience in negotiation to resolve business conflicts
Responsibilities:
Senior Zone Sales Manager deploys and optimizes all zone, field staff and dealership (Up to 20 Associates & up to 200 dealers in several states) processes/procedures to assure achievement of Honda Field Office business objectives, primarily focused on sales market achievement for new Honda sales, dealer wholesale to drive AHM profit, certified Honda sales, dealer network development, dealer and customer satisfaction and associate skill and competency development.
